Today we spent some time reading our stories to our partner to see if it was ready to be read! When then asked some questions we might have had and made edits to improve our losing tale shared writes.

Internet Safety Day
This week Year 3 took part in a live lesson from the BBC all about how to keep safe on the internet. We then played Who Wants to be a Millionaire with questions about online safety!
Mitten Manufactures
3C are now manufacturing our mittens with the aim of keep our hands warm on an adventure to the Ice Palace!
Collaboration Building Bridges
3C have had to collaborate to build paper bridges. We had to work together and take turns listening to each other’s ideas in order for this to work. We also had a lot of fun!

Flip Book Animation
To start our Computing unit on animation we made our own flip book animation where we explored making a stick person wave at us!
We had a great time exploring animation! I wonder if you can create your own flip book animation at home?
Country of the Month – Poland
We had a great time exploring atlases to try and work out what the Country of the Month was this month! Our amazing map skills helped us to find it on a world map and discover that it was Poland!
Murton Park
Today Year 3 went to Murton Park to live a day in the Stone Age! We had such a fun time… we learned how to throw spears to hunt, how to weave, how to grind wheat into flour, how to make and decorate pottery and even became archaeologists exploring some historical artefacts!
Silent Debate in PHSE
This week in PHSE, 3C took part in a silent debate about what a community is. This meant that the children were not able to talk but had to share their opinions in different ways!
Andy Seed Author Visit
Today we were lucky enough to have the author Andy Seed. He came to speak to us about some of his non-fiction books where he interviews a wide range of endangered animals!
